This is NOT healthy or organic. It's buttery and guilty and good. I grew up eating a big breakfast on Sunday mornings, and I continue the tradition in our house. We had this last Sunday before church at my man's request. I can pretty much hear my arteries clogging. But it's so delicious every once in a while.
2 cans of biscuits, each cut into 4-5 pieces
Roll the biscuit pieces in cinnamon-sugar mixture. (1/4 cup sugar, 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon)
Make a syrup of 1 stick melted butter and 3/4 cup brown sugar.
Layer the bottom of a pan with half the biscuit pieces, and pour half the syrup over it. Layer remaining biscuits on top and pour the rest of the syrup over.
Bake for 40-50 minutes at 350 degrees.
Invert onto a plate and let the gooeyness run all over.

This looks like something my mom makes but it's called pluck-its. And it's made with Rhodes frozen dough and butterscotch pudding syrup. But anytime you mix bread, sugar and butter it's got to be good!
Mmmm...this is the recipe that I called you for on Christmas Eve, isn't it? That was so good. The whole thing was gone before lunchtime (oh, but let the record show that it wasn't just Ken and me--my family was in town too)!
Oh, a friend of mine (I don't remember who--so it might be one of you) : ) who has kids said that she coats the biscuit pieces w/ the cinnamon-sugar mix in a Ziploc bag. That way her kids can help and it doesn't make as big of a mess. I thought that sounded like a great idea b/c even though I'm a grown-up, I still make a mess w/ the cinnamon-sugar mix.
That's how I do it! And anything I fry, I do the same way too. Of course, I would NEVER fry anything. I'm way too health conscious for that. Hah! That's my little joke!
