good hamburger recipe
Does anyone have a good hamburger recipe? I was just going to throw in some onion soup mix but wanted to see if anyone has a really yummy recipe that I could try. I'm having a birthday party for Jason tonight for about 14 people and he wanted hamburgers...he's so easy to please.

Well, my man always does the burger flavoring at our house... but I do know that he usually puts a little bacon grease (very figure friendly...) in with the meat, and a little liquid smoke. Then he shakes in some powdered seasoning (not sure what it is- maybe onion or garlic powder?)and fresh ground pepper. But I think it's the bacon grease that makes them so yummy. And then, of course, we have to put the bacon on the burgers too. De-Lish!
Sorry I didn't post anything, but I don't usually do anything fancy. I typically just sprinkle onion powder and salt and pepper on the meat. Joc's sounds much better.
Tonight as I was making taco soup I read on the back of the ranch seasoning that you can add it to your hamburger meat with shredded cheddar cheese - just make the patties and grill. I know this idea is too late for Jason's b-day party - hope it was fun - but I thought I would share anyways. I have never tried it - but I will - if I can remember!
